Production Welder at Meridian Manufacturing

Explore a vital role as a Production Welder with Meridian Manufacturing Inc. This position requires expertise in MIG and ARC welding, working in a dynamic environment to fabricate agricultural storage systems.

Reporting to the Team Manager, the Welder will focus on production welding, utilizing various tools and machinery for metal fabrication. Your responsibilities will include ensuring quality through inspections, operating overhead cranes, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. Collaborating with Team Managers, you’ll drive continuous improvements in production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications

• Perform gas metal and flux-cored arc welding

• Conduct quality inspections of welded products

• Operate overhead cranes according to safety standards

• Assist in training junior staff on welding techniques

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 1-2 years of welding experience preferred

• Ability to obtain CWB tickets within three months

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Flexible with a strong attention to detail
