Laminating Assistant

Join Winpak Division as a Laminating Assistant in Winnipeg, working onsite on an 8-hour rotating shift. Assist machine operators and maintain quality production throughout your shifts.

This position supports the Laminating department and involves working closely with operators. You will help in the preparation of orders, monitor machine operation, and perform routine maintenance. Additionally, you will back up operators by running the laminating machines and manage material movement using forklifts or pallet jacks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist operators with order preparation tasks

• Manage manual operations of laminating machines

• Conduct routine maintenance on laminating equipment

• Operate laminators as a backup when needed

• Use forklifts to move materials within the department

Requirements:

• 1+ years of effective communication experience

• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

• 6+ months of experience with tools and machinery
