We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Food Production Associate to join our dynamic manufacturing team in East Winnipeg. In this role, you will be responsible for operating packing line equipment, handling bulk raw ingredients, and ensuring the high‑quality packaging of our natural food products.
The ideal candidate has an outstanding attitude, takes pride in their work, possesses a strong commitment to food safety standards, and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced team environment. Having your own transportation is ideal – there is transit access that is a 20 minute walk from this warehouse.
Advantages- Monday to Friday
- Day shift; 6am - 2pm
- $17/hour
- Paid weekly via direct deposit
- Limited public transit access; requires a 20‑minute walk from the nearest bus stop
- Brand new facility
- Work efficiently on the production line to package, label, and prepare food products for distribution.
- Supply raw materials to production machinery and safely stack or move finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with facility standards.
- Visually inspect products and packaging to ensure they meet strict quality guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks and work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Comfortably perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching throughout your shift.
- Stand and walk for extended periods on the production floor.
- Steel‑toed shoes required.
- Having your own car/reliable vehicle is preferred to ensure timely attendance.
- Reliable, punctual, bring positive energy, and work well with others.
- 6+ months of prior warehouse or production work experience is an asset.
- Previous experience with food safety protocols, HACCP, or GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to comfortably perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching throughout an 8‑hour shift.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on the production floor.
- Comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks safely and efficiently.
