Yard Person; loader​/forklift

We are currently looking for a Yard Person (Loader/Forklift) at our Bradley Steel Processors
- Winnipeg, MB facility.

Reporting to the location's Supervisor, your focus will be to perform a wide variety of shipping duties and material moving.

• Work the following weekend shift with a starting hourly rate of $23.79:
  • 13 hour shift: Friday
    - Sunday
  • Days 7:00 am- 8:00 pm (paid 1 hour break which includes coffee breaks too)
• Provide a criminal background check by uploading it in "attachment documents" when uploading resume or at time of interview
• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with extremely hot materials while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Safely operate forklift equipment
• Operate Shunt truck to move trailers indoor and outdoor
• Load trucks as per shipping paperwork
• Load bundles on the truck safely and follow Company's safety rules
• Move scrap, dump scrap bins as needed
• May perform other duties as supervisor deems necessary

• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience as a forklift driver and have valid forklift license
• Ability to learn and drive Shunt truck
• Ability to read, write and follow schedules
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Physically capable of performing the role
• Ability to work in a team environment

• Can work with minimal supervision
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Frequent standing, bending, walking and stretching
• Physically demanding and able to lift light and heavy materials
• Mostly working outdoors; indoors as needed
