Custom Castings, part of the Nordstern Group, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for its Process Innovation Team. This role emphasizes collaboration with operators, engineering, and quality teams to develop repeatable machining processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to future CNC automation efforts while ensuring high-quality aluminum castings at the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and optimize CNC programs for diverse parts

• Develop efficient toolpaths with CAM software

• Estimate machining cycle times and tooling needs

• Collaborate on manufacturability and process improvements

• Train operators on new programs and setups

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Machinist or CNC Programmer certification

• 3-5 years of CNC programming experience

• Proficiency in MasterCAM or GibbsCAM

• Strong understanding of machining practices

• Effective communication and teamwork skills
