As a vital member of the Paint Shop team, you’ll be responsible for applying paint on transit vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. This role entails skilled painting, surface preparation, and equipment maintenance, all within a fast-paced environment. Your eye for detail will be crucial in providing exceptional output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete high-volume painting on large-scale transit components

• Review and execute instructions from blueprints

• Prepare diverse surfaces including composites and metals

• Apply paints using gravity and siphon feed spray guns

• Maintain cleanliness of all painting tools and equipment

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in automotive or heavy-duty painting

• Certification in Automotive Refinishing is a plus

• Strong blueprint interpretation and paint application skills

• In-depth knowledge of paint mixing and application processes

• Excellent coordination and precision in application
