The Opportunity:
The MRO receiver is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Department through the receiving of maintenance parts, and the management of inventory and control systems to support efficient plant operations.
Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:- Receive inventory into SAP system
- Label incoming parts with material numbers and bin locations
- Create domestic and international shipments
- Prepare monthly inventory report and follow up on parts issues
- Maintain stock room clean and organized
- Follow up on receiving, and delegate parts to work orders or stock c/w packing slips
- Coordinate with AP on questions regarding invoices and purchase orders
- Track warranty issues with suppliers
- Daily inventory management
- Identification of obsolete and slow-moving inventory
- Control inventory levels at benchmark levels
- Regular cycle counts
- Coordinate parts unpacking and provide written guidance on packing slips to tradespeople, inventory plans, and follow up training/guidance for tradespeople on key operational issues
- Provide monthly reports on inventory value
- High volume data entry
- Daily updating of SAP
- Understands and practices H&S and Foods Safety policies and regulations
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Working knowledge of SAP systems
- Experience in stores management
- Strong computer and problem solving and analysis process skills including Excel and Word knowledge
- Knowledge of maintenance materials, chemicals, and consumables
- The ability to multitask in a faced-faced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of purchasing practices
- Good understanding of food processing and regulatory requirements
- Educational background in purchasing and/or inventory management
