In this hands-on position, you will read and interpret detailed assembly instructions to accurately assemble components. Conducting quality inspections and troubleshooting issues during the assembly process are key parts of the role. HERD provides opportunities for on-the-job training, ensuring your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret assembly instructions and drawings accurately
• Assemble components and sub-assemblies efficiently
• Inspect quality throughout the assembly process
• Troubleshoot and resolve product defects
• Complete necessary documentation and quality reports
Requirements:
• Experience with hand tools and mechanical aptitude
• General labor experience in a shop environment
• Basic computer skills and self-directed work capability
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Reliable transportation required to access the site
