CNC Programmer Position at Custom Castings

Custom Castings, a member of the Nordstern Group, is currently seeking a CNC Programmer to enhance its Process Innovation Team. In this role, you will work closely with operators, engineers, and quality personnel to develop efficient machining processes and implement automation technologies. Your contributions will be instrumental in the production of high-quality aluminum castings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for accuracy

• Estimate machining requirements and cycle times

• Set up and test new jobs for production

• Collaborate on process standardization and tooling

• Manage CNC program documentation and revisions

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Machinist, CNC Programmer, or equivalent

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting

• Proficiency in CAM software like MasterCAM

• Understanding of machining tooling and techniques

• Strong detail orientation and communication skills
