GFL is seeking a Lead Hand for its recycling operations. This role involves stepping in as an acting supervisor during absences, managing team assignments, and handling daily reports. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, operational oversight skills, and a passion for recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations during supervisor absences

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and LOTO protocols

• Operate recycling machinery and manage equipment controls

• Train and evaluate new material sorters

• Complete end-of-shift reports and track production metrics

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous supervisory or lead experience desired

• Experience with recycling equipment strongly recommended

• Forklift and Skid Steer operator certification preferred

• Ability to lift 60 lbs regularly in an industrial setting
