Position: Sample Preparation Technician at ALS

In this role, you will work within the Sample Preparation Department, handling tasks like sieving, crushing, and maintaining production logs. You'll also load and unload drying ovens under supervision, contributing directly to quality analysis. Adherence to safety regulations and established procedures is key to ensuring analytical quality throughout your shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ring, sieve, and crush samples under supervision

• Load and unload samples from drying ovens

• Maintain accurate production logs daily

• Conduct general cleaning duties in the lab

• Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Good hand-eye coordination essential

• Basic English communication skills required

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Organizational skills to manage tasks independently

• Willingness to follow established procedures
