The impact you’ll make in this role
As an Assistant Operator, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.
This role works a weekly shift rotation (days, evenings, nights) and includes starting pay of $52,000 - $53,000 (varies by experience).Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Ensuring the safe and optimal use of equipment using established procedures, Lean, and 5S principles to foster improvement and achieve production goals
Performing regular Quality checks and ensuring compliance with standards
Troubleshooting plant processes, performing equipment changeovers, and performing minor troubleshooting and repairs as necessary
Adjusting to new demands, products, and plant priorities to support business interests
Performing day-to-day production operator duties within a temperature controlled, health care manufacturing facility
Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (completed prior to start)
OR1 year of experience in a production or warehouse role“Nice to Have”
Qualifications:
Must reside near/in Morden MB or planning to relocate to Morden MB in the near future
Flexibility for shift rotations
Experience working within an industrial manufacturing facility
Possess mechanical & troubleshooting skills
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Post-secondary education
