Job DescriptionAntec Controls ( ) is a leader in environmental monitoring and control for critical spaces such as operating rooms, isolation rooms, and laboratories. Our controllers are highly configurable, allowing for optimization of room and fume hood control.

Manufacturing Engineering Specialist – Antec Controls
The position of Manufacturing Engineering Specialist offers hands-on opportunities to support production while improving manufacturing processes and systems. If you are passionate, eager to learn, and thrive in a team-driven environment where you can execute projects, troubleshoot, and drive continuous improvement, you should consider the following opportunity.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
- Execute hands-on manufacturing projects to improve layouts, processes, tooling, and equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment and system issues on the manufacturing floor, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Support and maintain production processes, equipment, and spaces
- Support customer orders through production while identifying and acting on opportunities for improvement
- Follow, update, and help refine production procedures and work instructions
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- A College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 1-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (or strong hands-on exposure)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- A drive to identify inefficiencies and improve processes on the manufacturing floor
- Self-motivated and eager to learn through troubleshooting and exposure to new equipment and processes
- Strong critical thinking, accountability, and initiative
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- A basic understanding of HVAC, controls , and mechanical systems would be an asset
- Aptitude with hand tools
