JOB DESCRIPTION
The Dispensing Technician reports directly to the Color Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for preparing production batches and wet samples for color formulations within a controlled environment. Follow all safety procedures, understand all safety equipment, and adhere to company policies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Accurately and quickly dispense, correct, and produce color batches and samples from prescribed formulas and materials.
- Use related processing equipment (paint shakers, drawdown tables, and scales).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Fill and maintain an inventory of supplies.
- Clean and maintain all equipment and work environment.
- Perform other departmental duties or tasks as required.
- Recall, input and save accurate color data using the iMatch software on a computer.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- General mechanical aptitude is an asset.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good Time Management Skills required.
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
Excellent attendance history and positive work attitude are required.
- High School Diploma or Level 12 G.E.D.
- Dispense Technician or related experience is an asset.
SHIFT:
Evenings, Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:15 pm
