We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic team at our oat milling facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of finished products throughout our operations, helping us maintain our commitment to quality and efficiency. Pay

$22.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating automated packing lines for various bagging products
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks and containers
  • Unsing inventory management systems to prepare orders for shipment
  • Conduct routine inventory audits
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA, CFIA
    , ISO 22000 and other food safety regulations by following good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the company and regulatory agencies
Qualifications
  • Forklift certification (2 years of experience)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in packaging and warehouse operations is preferred
  • Previous work in a food manufacturing operation is preferred
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalency; post-secondary degree is an asset
  • Lifting pallets and bags weighing 25 kg
Hours
  • Full time position, 40 hours weekly
  • Monday to Friday, rotating weekly day, evening and night shifts, 8-hour shifts
  • Overtime may be required during peak periods
