Position: Production Welder at New Flyer

New Flyer is looking for a Production Welder to join its team. As a valued team member, you will perform MIG welding on bus components while ensuring adherence to safety and production standards. Your ability to read blueprints and maintain weld quality will contribute to our mission of leading electrification in mass mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding per CWB standards

• Fit, clamp, and prepare parts before welding

• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols

• Complete multi-pass and overhead welds as needed

• Maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot issues

Requirements:

• CWB certification is an asset; willingness to obtain it

• Strong MIG welding skills; TIG experience preferred

• Ability to interpret blueprints and welding symbols

• Attention to detail in weld quality

• Physically fit for the role, able to lift and stand for long periods
