Position: CNC Programmer for Laser Cutting

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be pivotal in creating CNC programs that translate CAD designs into efficient production workflows. This role involves close collaboration with production and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution and to minimize material waste, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret specifications and engineering drawings for accuracy

• Create cutting paths and machine-ready CNC programs

• Develop nesting layouts to improve material yield

• Troubleshoot errors and optimize quality on the shop floor

• Work with operators to assess and improve cutting performance

Requirements:

• 2–5+ years in CNC programming and nesting

• Proficient with CAD/CAM systems (SigmaNEST, Solid Works)

• Solid understanding of sheet metal properties

• Familiarity with MRP systems advantageous

• Physical ability to lift parts and comply with safety gear
