We are currently looking for an Occupational Health Nurse at our Selkirk, MB facility.
Basic Function:
Provide health care services to all employees and contractors at Gerdau's Manitoba Mill, Recycling and Bradley locations.
Job Summary:
Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, you are in daily contact with managers, supervisors, administrative staff, hourly employees, contractors, union representatives & safety captains regarding injuries, first aid treatment, annual hearing tests, wellness initiatives (including EAP), first aid kit supplies & Disability Management issues.
Primary
Duties & Responsibilities:
Supporting and administering the Disability Management program including return to work coordination and WCB processes/reporting The hearing conservation program and medical screenings Delivering health education and promoting preventative care initiatives Wellness programs (such as gym membership benefits program information, EAP referrals) Providing on-site first aid treatment to employees and contractors
