Working out of our Buffalo location, we are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team who brings strong programming, setup, and machining capabilities and is comfortable working with CNC lathes, CNC mills, and manual mills and lathes. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, enjoys solving machining challenges, and is looking for an opportunity to contribute their skills in a hands‑on manufacturing environment.

Primary Areas Of Responsibility
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills.
  • Set up and operate manual mills and lathes as required.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and machining requirements.
  • Determine practical machining sequences, tooling, speeds, feeds, and work holding methods.
  • Design or modify fixtures, soft jaws, and work holding solutions when required.
  • Complete machine setups, program prove‑outs, and first‑piece verification.
  • Use precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet specifications.
  • Monitor machining processes and make appropriate adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot programming, tooling, work holding, dimensional, and machining concerns.
  • Identify opportunities to improve setup time, cycle time, tooling life, quality, and repeatability.
  • Maintain accurate setup, program, and production information.
  • Follow Malach safety procedures, machine‑specific work instructions, and quality requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other team members.
What You Bring
  • Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC machining equipment.
  • Strong CNC lathe and CNC mill experience.
  • Experience operating manual mills and lathes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and machining tolerances.
  • Experience with fixture design, work holding, tooling, and machining processes.
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good understanding of speeds, feeds, cutting tools, and machining conditions.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
