Keyresponsibilities
- Responsible for packaging and processing of grain and feeds products
- Complete production documentation and HACCP records
- Perform bagging tasks accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in daily housekeeping activities
- Assist plant personnel as needed, and requested by the leadership team
- Complete necessary documentation to maintained uninterrupted workflow
- Maintain a safe and sanitary atmosphere and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Other duties as required
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- 1 to 2 years manufacturing experience
- Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Able to work at elevated heights as required
- Capable of performing physical job duties (may include: lifting up to 50 lbs (25 kg) repeatedly, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling and twisting safely)
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE), must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (may include: heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow-up
- Understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Day shift with potential for overtime
- Steel toed boots are mandatory
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or agricultural setting
- Trained in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
- High school diploma or equivalent
