MBVS Slitting Supervisor

Lead MBVS Slitting operations at Winpak in Winnipeg, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement across rotating crews. This fully onsite position requires rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
Reporting to the Senior Extrusion Manager, you will manage Multi Barrier Slitting processes on a per-crew basis. The work includes monitoring performance, establishing standard procedures, supporting cast extrusion knowledge, and coordinating with Maintenance. You will also reinforce training, safety awareness, and department targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop Zero Injuries culture through training and hazard analysis
- Monitor daily crew performance and report updated measurements
- Establish standard work and reinforce process procedures
- Maintain safety, quality, productivity, waste, training, and housekeeping requirements
- Coordinate equipment reliability improvements with Maintenance
- Grade 12 education; post-secondary education is an asset
- Five or more years within a manufacturing environment
- One or more years using continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
