As a Color Matching Specialist or Industrial Wood Coatings Paint Lab Technician, you will handle matters involving multiple coating types. Richelieu Hardware needs strong technical aptitude across stains, primers, pre-cat, post-cat, urethanes, and water-based products. The position combines laboratory preparation, formula database maintenance, testing, and responsive customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate color matches while meeting rush requirements
Prepare coating samples for customer and product needs
Maintain formula and recipe database information
Support sales force with technical product application expertise
Maintain quality and safe work practices
Requirements:
Strong wood coatings industry knowledge
Excellent color vision and color-matching aptitude
Knowledge of wood finishing techniques and applications
Self-motivated, self-directed, and disciplined work habits
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
Use precise color vision, customer service, and coatings knowledge to support Richelieu Hardware’s Winnipeg branch.
