The Manitoba Métis Federation is seeking a Social Media Specialist within our Communications Department. This role requires a candidate with strong skills in multiple social media platforms, content creation, and analytics. You will contribute to the MMF’s mission by supporting the Content Strategist to improve the online experience and engage our communities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Linked In

• Edit captions and maintain a social media calendar

• Research engaging trends and platform-specific content

• Monitor analytics and respond to comments/messages

• Provide live updates during events with photos/videos

Requirements:

• Degree in marketing, writing or related field

• Minimum one year of in-field experience

• Extensive knowledge of social media practices

• Experience in photography and content creation

• Familiarity with the Red River Métis culture and MMF
