Shape public communications as an Engagement Specialist with the Manitoba government in Winnipeg. This regular, full-time position is essential for delivering strategic and timely communications across various platforms.
The Manitoba government is looking for an Engagement/Communications Specialist to support the Policy and Strategic Priorities Division.
Your role will involve developing precise messaging, producing corporate publications, and managing digital content. Engage with diverse audiences and strengthen community connections through impactful public education and engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic communications support across departments
• Manage social media and digital content development
• Create corporate publications and executive communications
• Develop outreach and public education initiatives
• Liaise with stakeholders for effective communication
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Communications or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in strategic communications and public relations
• Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Experience in graphic design is beneficial
• Bilingual proficiency in French is desirable
