Breakthrough T1D is seeking a National Communications Manager to lead the organization’s communication efforts across Canada. This remote role offers an opportunity to drive change for the T1D community.
In this vital role, you'll bring at least 7 years of experience to develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies. You will work closely with various teams to ensure effective messaging and strong connections to our mission of curing type 1 diabetes through impactful content and media relations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic content strategies fitting the organizational vision
• Oversee editorial planning and content execution
• Produce compelling stories that resonate with audiences
• Strengthen media relations to uplift brand awareness
• Monitor communications performance metrics consistently
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related fields with 7+ years of experience
• Proven track record in communication strategy execution
• Strong skill set in content development and media outreach
• Capacity to simplify complex information into engaging formats
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
