Vice-President, Marketing - Virtù Hospitality

These services cater to the needs of High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals and families for their ultra-luxe vacations and vacation homes. With operations in the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean, Virtù continues to expand its geographic footprint and bespoke service offering and is building a corporate team to support its growth through acquisition and strategic corporate initiatives. This position is located in Winnipeg.

The Opportunity
The Vice-President, Marketing, will report to the President as a member of Virtù Hospitality’s corporate team and will be responsible for developing and managing the marketing function corporately and as a shared service, supporting Virtù’s operating subsidiaries. The Vice-President will work with the executive team, and marketing resources in the operating subsidiaries, leading, planning and executing marketing plans and strategic and tactical marketing initiatives.

Specifically, the Vice-President will lead integration-related marketing initiatives and support the development and expansion of products and services, in alignment with Virtù’s business and brand strategy. The Vice-President will be part of the leadership group that will develop the future-looking integrated brand strategy and a transition plan for the company’s operating business and legacy brands. This is a new position within the dynamic, evolving structure of Virtù.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and monitor the marketing plan and budget corporately and for the operating subsidiaries, in collaboration with their management teams.

Establish and manage marketing as a shared service to execute the marketing plans of the operating subsidiaries as well as Virtù’s corporate marketing.

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns across print, email, and digital channels to drive brand awareness, business growth, and alignment with Virtù’s brand positioning and messaging.

Manage product/service launches and ongoing product/service management activities.

Actively drive product and service differentiation and value proposition development.

Lead the creation of compelling marketing materials, including website content, social media posts, and promotional materials, working closely with Virtù’s leadership team and operating subsidiaries.

Lead market research, product/service planning, and market penetration activities.

Collaborate with sales, communications, and operations leaders to support strategic initiatives, identify revenue opportunities, and develop account and sales strategies that build and grow revenue in alignment with Virtù’s overall strategic plan.

Manage third party consultants and other key vendor relationships.

Selection Criteria

A post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, business, management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of seven years of progressively senior marketing responsibilities in an operating or corporate environment

Travel and hospitality services or related experience would be an asset.

Accomplished at leading and managing people and a minimum of 3-5 years of people leadership experience.

Advanced training, education and skill development in marketing techniques, processes, practices, and systems.

A facilitative and collaborative leader with skills in mobilizing people to pursue shared goals.

Comfort with ambiguity, able to analyze situations, identify solutions/goals, establish processes, and mobilize people to achieve results.
