Christmas Kettle Coordinator at Salvation Army

Lead the Christmas Kettle Campaign for The Salvation Army as the Kettle Coordinator. Oversee various Kettle locations and manage staffing to support community needs during the holiday season.

This temporary position focuses on coordinating Kettle operations within shopping malls and grocery stores. The successful candidate will direct Christmas Kettle Campaign Workers, ensuring shifts are covered and donations are safely handled. Your leadership will directly impact the organization's ability to assist those in need, reinforcing the values of hope and service during the festive season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and supervise Kettle staff and volunteers

• Ensure timely delivery of Kettles to assigned locations

• Manage secure collection and reporting of donations

• Provide training and orientation for Kettle workers

• Foster relationships with Kettle site managers

Requirements:

• Minimum one year customer service experience

• Valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver's License

• Strong skills in office software (Word, Excel)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
