Springfield Regional Outpatient Surgery Center (Springfield OSC) is a Medicare-certified, AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center located in Springfield, Ohio. With four operating rooms and a procedure room, the center provides high-quality, cost-effective outpatient surgical care across specialties including orthopedics, sports medicine, digestive health, general surgery, spine, women’s health, plastic surgery, podiatry, and pain management.

Role

Summary:


The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care s position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

Hours:
PRN;
Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM (hours may vary based on center needs).

What You’ll do:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings

  • Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery

  • Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients

  • Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols

  • Support patient education and post‑op instructions

What You’ll bring:

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program

  • Current RN license (unencumbered)

  • Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months)

  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity

  • Exposure to surgical environments, equipment, and patient care areas
