This full-time, in-person role at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority requires a strong focus on neurodegenerative disorders with at least five years of clinical experience. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work autonomously, utilizing a Masters of Nursing to navigate complex health situations, support patient education, and foster collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply nursing theory for clinical patient care
• Manage diagnostic testing and prescription authorization
• Work alongside physicians in treatment planning
• Evaluate complex patient needs and teach nursing skills
• Support staff collaboration and problem-solving efforts
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years in nursing practice
• Master’s education in Nurse Practitioner field
• Registered on the RN Extended Practice Register
• Knowledgeable in health care regulatory standards
• Effective leadership and communication skills
