Part-Time Nurse Practitioner at NorWest Co-op

Enhance community health as a part-time Nurse Practitioner at Nor West Co-op Community Health. Work collaboratively within a primary care team, providing episodic care and promoting health in the Inkster and Seven Oaks area.

This permanent role involves working 0.5 EFT at the Walk-In Connected Care Clinic. Candidates must bring five years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in primary care. You will autonomously order tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures while contributing to nursing practice advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide episodic clinical care in a collaborative setting

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests autonomously

• Prescribe pharmacologic agents and perform minor procedures

• Educate clients and colleagues in health promotion

• Enable problem-solving within multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience

• Masters of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Stream required

• Active CRNM registration for extended practice

• Strong communication and advocacy skills

• CPR certification and criminal record checks required
