Become a Licensed Practical Nurse with Betel Home Foundation, providing exceptional care to residents in Gimli and Selkirk, Manitoba. Support a compassionate team dedicated to community health.
Under the supervision of the Director of Resident Care, the LPN offers comprehensive nursing care aligned with established standards. Responsibilities include providing clinical direction to Health Care Aides, conducting assessments, and maintaining ethical practices within the Licensed Practical Nurses Act's scope. Experience in geriatrics and dementia care is preferred, fostering an environment of teamwork and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical nursing care to residents daily
• Direct Health Care Aides in care delivery
• Maintain adherence to nursing standards and policies
• Engage in effective decision-making regarding nursing care
• Communicate effectively with residents and team members
Requirements:
• Active licensure with CLPNM or eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Competency in clinical nursing skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
