As part of our dedicated team, the Licensed Practical Nurse will operate under the Director of Resident Care’s supervision. This essential role involves offering comprehensive nursing support, clinical direction to Health Care Aides, and ensuring adherence to established policies. You will practice within the guidelines of the Licensed Practical Nurses Act and the CLPNM's standards, shaping the quality of care we provide.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care following established standards
• Supervise Health Care Aides and other LPNs effectively
• Maintain compliance with clinical policies and ethics
• Support residents with empathetic, personalized care
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training
Requirements:
• Active licensure with CLPNM or eligible for it
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in geriatrics and dementia care preferred
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in English, bilingual skills an asset
