Advance your nursing skills as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Surgery and Obstetrics at Southern Health-Santé Sud's Bethesda Regional Health Centre. This permanent, in-person position offers a unique opportunity to impact patient health.
The Licensed Practical Nurse role is focused on providing exceptional care in surgical, transitional, and obstetric units within Steinbach. You will apply nursing practices, maintain professional competency, and actively engage in quality improvement initiatives. This position combines clinical duties with the chance to work within a culturally diverse community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care tailored to patient needs
• Maintain compliance with health standards
• Participate in continuous professional education
• Work collaboratively with the health care team
• Conduct conflict resolution to support optimal service
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• Required valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
• Able to meet physical demands of the job
