Pediatric Research Nurse Overseeing Clinical Trials and Patient Care

Become a Pediatric Research Nurse, championing care for young oncology patients while collaborating in clinical trials. Ensure compliance with health regulations and monitor patient progress effectively.
This role reports to the manager of the Clinical Trials Unit, requiring 3 years of oncology experience. You will screen patients for trial eligibility, manage consent processes, and participate in education and counseling for families. Additionally, you’ll organize treatment plans and coordinate specimen collection as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen patients for clinical trial eligibility

• Manage initial and ongoing consent processes

• Organize study-specific treatment plans

• Monitor patient progress throughout trials

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Requirements:

• Current registration with nursing regulatory body

• CPR certification as per organizational policy

• Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience

• Proficiency with MS Windows and relevant software

• Ability to work with hazardous medications
