Nurse - NICU Mentor

Position: Nurse 3 - NICU Mentor Role Available
Join St. Boniface Hospital as a Nurse 3 Clinical Mentor in the NICU. This role is perfect for experienced nurses eager to lead and develop their peers in a supportive environment.
We seek an adept Nurse 3 with at least five years of NICU experience to mentor and foster the growth of staff in our Intensive Care Nursery Unit. This in-person position requires demonstrating effective collaboration and communication while maintaining excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and precept new NICU nurses and support staff

• Conduct training sessions on neonatal best practices

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in care delivery

• Lead quality improvement initiatives in the unit

• Maintain documentation as per clinical standards
Requirements:

• Five years of recent NICU nursing experience required

• Valid registration with CRNM as an RN

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred

• Certification in Adult Education is advantageous

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
