Position: Clinical Nursing Role in PACU
Become a vital part of patient recovery in the PACU at Shared Health in Winnipeg. This Registered Nurse role requires strong critical care skills and active participation in patient management.
Under the manager's supervision, the Registered Nurse will deliver professional nursing care to patients post-surgery. This role emphasizes the administration of treatments, leadership in multi-disciplinary teams, and patient discharge facilitation. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the exceptional care practices at Shared Health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing services for post-operative patients

• Oversee administration of medications and treatments

• Coordinate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

• Engage in patient education and discharge instructions

• Record patient progress and safety compliance accurately
Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of acute care experience

• Completion of a recognized PACU or Critical Care course

• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

• Current BLS certification is essential

• Strong communication skills are a must
