Join Betel Home Foundation as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Gimli or Selkirk, Manitoba, where your nursing skills can greatly enhance resident care. Work within a supportive team in a not-for-profit setting.

As the LPN reporting to the Director of Resident Care, you provide nursing care that adheres to the highest standards outlined by the CLPNM. You'll guide Health Care Aides and ensure each resident receives personalized care. The role requires a balance of clinical knowledge, ethical practice, and effective communication to support residents’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care pursuant to standards

• Direct Health Care Aides and support LPNs in charge

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and nursing procedures

• Assess residents’ needs and execute care plans

• Establish good rapport with residents and team members

Requirements:

• Valid license with CLPNM or eligibility for active practice

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Prior experience in geriatrics or dementia care beneficial

• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Ability to meet physical demands of nursing work
