Part-Time Medical Surgical Nurse Position

The Whitehorse General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a regular part-time position (0.75 FTE) at the L09 level with a competitive hourly pay range. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide critical nursing care, overseeing medical investigations and therapeutic interventions. Your skills in patient advocacy and care planning will be vital to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients on a Medical Surgical unit

• Develop and implement nursing care and discharge plans

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Teach nursing practices and relevant clinical skills

• Maintain effective patient communication and documentation
Requirements:

• Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing

• Minimum one year of related nursing experience

• Registration with Yukon Registered Nurses Association

• Current C.P.R certification

• A.C.L.S. and Critical Care certification preferred
