As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver comprehensive patient care at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre. This position requires expertise in critical care and day surgery, organizing patient support while leading health care aides and junior nurses. You will ensure compliance with nursing standards, and embody ethical practices while serving the diverse community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in accordance with established standards
• Direct and guide Health Care Aides and junior nurses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient support
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and assessments
• Uphold ethical practices following relevant guidelines
Requirements:
• Active licensure with CRNM or eligibility for registration
• Two years of critical care experience in the last five years
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Knowledge of pre and post-operative care
• Excellent clinical and decision-making skills
