Join Rainbow Valley Community Health Centre as a Nurse Practitioner dedicated to community health initiatives in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This full-time temporary role supports primary care during maternity leave while fostering health education.

The Nurse Practitioner at RVCHC will deliver comprehensive primary health services while promoting wellness and disease prevention. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and social workers, to address community health needs effectively. Utilize strong clinical skills to enhance health outcomes and evaluate health programs impacting individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary health care services focused on illness prevention

• Educate clients on health promotion strategies for better wellness

• Collaborate with various healthcare professionals in a team

• Access diagnostic tests utilizing privileges ncis Memorial Hospital

• Participate in evaluating and developing health programs

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Community health nursing experience is an asset

• Strong primary care clinical skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

• Requires a vehicle for independent work
