Become an integral part of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as an Oncology Registered Nurse. In this role, you'll provide compassionate care for complex oncology patients while promoting ongoing learning within the team.
The RN will deliver personalized patient care and collaborate closely with interprofessional teams in a supportive environment focused on continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include providing total care for oncology patients and ensuring discharge planning aligns with person-centred care principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive care to oncology patients
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams during patient care
• Support discharge planning for individual patients
• Foster an environment dedicated to staff and student learning
• Administer chemotherapy and manage complex patient needs
Requirements:
• Current Ontario Registration as a nurse
•
B.Sc.N. preferred or equivalent qualification
• Certification in Nursing Oncology preferred
• Ability to administer chemotherapy strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and time management skills
