Shape the future of pediatric care as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Children's Hospital. This role involves delivering specialized nursing services to patients with complex health needs.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of acute nursing experience, ideally in pediatrics, and is a graduate of an approved nursing education program. Successful completion of a post-basic ICU course is preferred, along with active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba. Your tasks will involve direct patient care coordination and leadership within the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent nursing services for patients

• Administer prescribed medical treatments accurately

• Coordinate patient care and discharge effectively

• Demonstrate medication calculation competency

• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and ethics

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of acute nursing experience

• Graduate of an approved nursing program

• CPR training at Health Care Provider Level

• Current criminal records and child abuse checks

• Knowledge of nursing care regulations and practices
