Pediatric ICU General Duty Nurse

The General Duty Nurse N2 in Child Health will deliver nursing services under the guidance of the Health Services Manager. With a focus on acute care, this position requires at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric care. The role includes patient treatment, discharge coordination, and important leadership within the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent nursing services to pediatric patients

• Administer prescribed medical treatments effectively

• Facilitate patient care and discharge coordination

• Lead within the healthcare team for improved outcomes

• Maintain and uphold nursing standards of practice

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of acute nursing experience

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program

• Completion of post-basic ICU course preferred

• CPR certification at the provider level required

• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
