In this permanent role, you will report to the Patient Services Manager, ensuring compliance with clinical trial regulations and nursing standards. The Research Nurse plays a key role in conducting patient assessments, managing consent processes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to educate patients and families about clinical trials. In addition, you will monitor patient progress and assist with specimen collection, fostering a culture of research within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen patients for clinical trial eligibility
• Organize and monitor study-specific treatment plans
• Conduct patient education and counseling sessions
• Participate in recruitment of study participants
• Assist in coordinating specimen collection
Requirements:
• Current CRNM registration
• Minimum 3 years of oncology experience
• Certification in CPR
• Proficiency with MS Windows/Word/Outlook
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
