Shared Health Undergraduate Nurse Position

In the UNE role, nursing students will work under the supervision of experienced Registered Nurses or Registered Psychiatric Nurses. This position is designed to consolidate your clinical education while providing compassionate care to patients. As an integral part of the healthcare team, you will be guided in delivering safe and effective nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care in a supervised setting

• Engage in collaborative patient care planning

• Solicit guidance from RNs or RPNs as needed

• Exhibit clear communication with patients and families

• Document nursing activities per established protocols

Requirements:

• Enrollment in an accredited nursing program

• Minimum of 450 clinical practice hours completed

• Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills

• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgement

• Meet current legal and safety check requirements
