Join the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Chronic Care unit. This in-person role focuses on geriatrics and complex continuing care, leveraging your nursing skills.
Winnipeg Regional Health Authority invites skilled Licensed Practical Nurses to apply for a position in Lodge 6 Chronic Care. Experience in chronic illness and certification with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba are required.
Your role will include implementing ethical nursing practices and providing quality care to our aging population.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient-centered care for chronic illness
• Evaluate and document treatment outcomes
• Work effectively with the health care team
• Ensure adherence to nursing standards and ethics
• Participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved LPN educational program
• Valid registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba
• Experience in nursing geriatrics and chronic care
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a demanding environment
