As a Registered Nurse, you will assist in assessing and monitoring patient care for long-term residents. You will also be responsible for managing and evaluating nursing staff, supporting their development through orientations and performance reviews. In the absence of the Director of Care, you will guide the nursing department, ensuring operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure nursing care adheres to established standards
• Assist in developing and reviewing care plans
• Manage and evaluate nursing staff performance
• Provide direction to nursing department when needed
• Conduct performance appraisals and address issues
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Previous experience in community or long-term care
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
Utilize your nursing skills and leadership capabilities to deliver outstanding care and support to residents.
