The Out of Hours Urgent Care team seeks an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Band 7. You will deliver prompt service in urgent medical situations, requiring a strong background in clinical evaluation. Collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals is essential for achieving optimal patient outcomes in this innovative Walk-In Service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and diagnose urgent medical conditions
• Provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership
• Drive service improvement initiatives and education
• Engage in service audits to enhance care quality
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration
• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification required
• Demonstrated independent prescribing abilities
• Relevant experience in urgent or primary care
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings
