Join the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Misericordia Community Hospital, where you will provide high-level nursing care to critically ill patients. Focus on advanced assessments and treatment evaluations in a team-oriented environment.
As a Registered Nurse, you'll be essential in delivering comprehensive care for cardiac patients. Your role is pivotal for patient education, discharge planning, and acting as an advocate for patients and their families. Effective communication and strong organizational skills will be vital in managing care within a multidisciplinary context.
Key Responsibilities- Perform nursing assessments and interventions
- Administer and evaluate prescribed treatments
- Collaborate with teams for critical care planning
- Ensure patient education and family support
- Lead in charge nurse roles when applicable
- Graduation from a recognized Nursing program
- Active CRNA registration required
- Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
- Recent completion of a Critical Care Course
