The University of Manitoba is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in renal care for a part-time position. You will perform hemo-dialysis, conduct foot assessments, administer injections, and liaise with a range of healthcare professionals. The role also involves teaching staff about renal patient triage and preventive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform hemo-dialysis procedures as scheduled
• Conduct routine primary care treatments and assessments
• Teach staff and nursing students about renal health
• Maintain clinic supplies, records, and policies
• Provide outreach education to Island Lake communities
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with CRNM without restrictions
• Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Course completion preferred
• One to two years of renal nursing experience preferred
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
